The Disgusting failure of child protective services a decade of abuse Shavon Miles endured before succumbing to final beating with 2 x4 & electrical cord weighing just 72 lbs covered in old & new cigarette burns this is a system that's main concern is not children it's federal subsidy money too many are needlessly removed hence their crying over loaded.

i'm a mom too and my sister and I feel as upset as you and we are thinking of some sort of crusade against cps!!
the brown story is worse than you wrote, she wasn't 72 lbs she was 37 lbs at the time of death!
heres a link to her memorial, she is a beautiful angel. looking at what they had done to her just breaks my heart.
I read she cried for her mom as she layed there dying..she still just wanted to held by her mommy who just let this happen to her.
keep up the good work on the site. with more people getting the word out maybe a child will be saved. god bless you.
